Have an interest in theater? Trying out for a play? Just looking to have fun while learning something new? Then this workshop is for you! Learn the basics of theater through theater games and activities. Learn blocking, stage directions, diction, characteristics of a good stage voice, and harnessing energy. This class will provide a basic introduction to the many aspects of theater such as who’s who in theater, the basics of acting, creating a character, and much, much more! The week will culminate with a free performance for families and friends!

July 10-14, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and July 15 at 10:00 AM, with a culminating performance at 1:00 PM
Cultivate and expand your artistic talents during the theatre intensive Introduction to APTC sessions. Designed to educate and enrich our 8-12 year old thespians, this one-week daytime workshop is intended to educate beginning and intermediate young artists who love to sing, dance, and perform. Throughout the week, students' talents will be fostered as they receive in-depth exposure to all facets of the theatrical world including costume and set design, learning professionally choreographed dance routines, exploring vocal technique, acting instruction, and more. The week will culminate with the production of an original piece of art for all of their family and friends to enjoy!

July 31-August 11, 2017 (no August 6) from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and August 12 at 10:00 AM with a performance at 1:00 PM
The Ensemble Experience is designed for the serious young artist at the intermediate or advanced level. This two-week intensive conservatory is designed to challenge our 13 – 17-year-old artists with hands-on instruction at this higher level. Throughout the two weeks, campers will be exposed to all facets of live theatre, both on and off stage. The Ensemble Experience will culminate with a performance showcasing the skills of our artists.
